Walk for Life
The board and staff of Options on 8 thank you for coming out in the cold today to be together in solidarity for every Life.
Roe V Wade was overturned a year and half ago, but when there is a victory, there is always much more that needs to be done. Jesus said, “Behold I am with you always”, Jesus knew that the work would be difficult, frustrating, and discouraging, but He proclaims we would not be alone.
My husband and I attended the March for Life on Friday in Washington DC. At the National Prayer Vigil for Life, Bishop Burbidge spoke of the work ahead.
Some issues cannot be negotiated for they are from God and are and will always be true, all human life is sacred, the right to life is fundamental, those in public office want to compromise or negotiate these lives, it is our duty to defend them. Our message must be true and charitable.
We must pursue our message in love and bring it to the darkest places and not where we are likely to win, and our message is accepted but to those that are likely to reject it. Every life that is saved is loved by God and is worth the effort.
The message from this event was repeated. With every mother for every child. The work done at every Pregnancy Resource Center is at the center of our mission. We must fortify those efforts and ensure that those who choose life have what is necessary to care for their children. To support mothers and fathers with spiritual and emotional care.
Why do we walk? We continue to walk until the culture of life is restored.
